In 11 games 140 goals were scored!
Some teams already got their place in the 1/8-final (men) or ¼-final (women) by winning two of their games in the group-round. For those who have lost so far two of their games it’s going to be very difficult to still qualify for the next round. But still everything is possible in both ways, positive or negative.
Very impressive was to see how the teams behaved after the games were over. They really listened to what the coach had to tell them. There was joy but no haughtiness, the players behaved
selfconfident but without any arrogance. This behaviour showed us that the players respect their coaches and they try to do whatever they ask them to do on
the pitch. That’s how a team that wants to win has to behave.
We from the organising commitee and the delegates of the EDSO want to thank the many, many people of the staff who are helping with the organisation and work for so many hours.
